It’s been three years since I attempted NaNoWriMo, and I’ve decided to give it a go again this year. Back in 2017, I successfully completed a short novel, clocking in at about 62,000 words. One of the reasons for my success was that I had written a rough outline before starting, and it was just a matter of getting the words down each day (which in and of itself was no easy feat).

This week, I’ve been working on such an outline, which will hopefully carry me through the next month of writing. In preparation for this, I’ve started making some notes as well as writing some vignettes just to get back into practice. I’ve decided to start documenting my progress, so more updates to follow…
